Asbestos Removals

Our approach to asbestos removal is designed to ensure the Health and Safety of everybody who could be affected by our operations and at the same time try to mitigate the amount of disruption to the client’s normal activities.

If we consider that the asbestos is in good condition and can be managed safely we will point this out at tender stage as an alternative to full asbestos removal.

Planning, we have learnt from experience, is crucial to the success of a contract so the proposed works will be fully risk assessed and a method statement developed to ensure the contract can be carried out safely and efficiently. This “Method Statement” or “Plan of Work” will be developed in consultation with all interested parties including the independent UKAS accredited laboratory who will issue the final clearance certifications.
This process is not just about complying with current regulations and legislation; it is about protecting everybody’s Health & Safety in general and avoiding the potential for damaging litigation in the future.

Once on site, our highly experienced supervisors will ensure that the contract is progressed smoothly and efficiently and will maintain a close liaison with all interested parties until the contract is fully completed.

A rigorous audit regime carried out both internally and by external independent organisations ensures all quality control procedures are complied with any non conformances are dealt with without delay.

We have built up over the years experience in all types of asbestos removal projects for differing organisations in the following sectors
  • Industrial & Commercial
  • Retail
  • Demolition and Refurbishment
  • Local Authority – Non domestic premises
  • Health Authorities and Trusts
  • Government Agencies – Non domestic premises
  • Occupied Domestic properties though Housing Associations, Local Authorities and Main Contractors
